My favorite place on campus is my room. My room is the center of my life on campus. I live in a suite on campus with a common room and a half kitchen. This is where I do my homework, hang out with my friends, cook, and have fun. When we all get together we're pretty crazy and have the times of our lives.
I chose the University of New Haven because it felt like home as soon as I stepped on campus. My campus visit made me feel comfortable and welcome. Everyone was so friendly. I also liked that I would be able to get out into the field in my freshman year with my professors, who always play a role in their students education. The small class sizes make it easy for the professors get to know your name and your face, which made me even more comfortable at this university.
My favorite class at the University of New Haven is my Invertebrate Zoology class. This is my favorite class because this is my first college class to learn about all of the animals I love. We learn about how all these different and diverse animals are related to each other and how they evolved. I never knew animals without a backbone could be so interesting!
