I chose University of New Haven because...

The Criminal Justice program has a lot of professors with real-life experience. Some have been Crime Scene Technicians, others are retired FBI agents- the diverse background the faculty at the University has adds to the educational experience you will get. I never realized how many versatile and great opportunities there were within the field until I began my college career here.

What is your favorite class at the University of New Haven?

My favorite class at the University was actually my Intro to Forensics class. From that class, we learned how to recognize and analyze different kinds of evidence found at crime scene. My professor had experience in the field themselves and was able to show us different techniques used to collect and photograph evidence. This class is what pushed me to apply for the university's Forensic Technology Graduate program!

What is your favorite place on campus?

The new Bergami Center for Science, Technology & Innovation has been my favorite hangout spot since it's opening! The lounge spaces and multiple seating areas make it a great hangout and study spot for students.
