I chose University of New Haven because...

The university offers a major in psychology and has a variety of programs, including a highly qualified research faculty that provides a broad foundation through several project-based learning opportunities. I was impressed by the innovative leadership transition plans which will help me obtain the mental health certifications required in psychology. When I was working through the process of applying to different universities, the one thing that really stood out about this university was the way the faculty of International Admissions and others welcomed me with the utmost patience, handling all my questions with absolute courtesy. Being an international student, I felt like I was in safe hands while interacting with people who were representing the university which is incredibly significant.
