I chose this university because I loved the atmosphere when I stepped onto campus. Everyone is always friendly and helpful, and the faculty is amazing. The University of New Haven also has so many programs and opportunities that were unique, such as Living Learning Communities. I felt that I belonged here on campus and I'm happy that the University of New Haven became my second home.
My favorite place on campus would have to be the Beckerman Recreation Center. I love being able to go and relieve some stress by playing volleyball or basketball with some friends, or running around the track. I also love how they offer classes such as yoga and zumba. It is a great place to hangout with friends, get fit, or just relax.
My favorite class at the university would have to be my Oral Pathology course. It is one of my core Dental Hygiene courses and it is interesting to learn about conditions and diseases of the oral cavity. The professor of this course is also so passionate about the topic that it makes learning the material even better! It is exciting to see different conditions that may effect dental treatment of patients that I see everyday in clinic.
