I chose University of New Haven because...

of the amazing faculty. Every professor I met with showed genuine interest in what I wanted to do with my life. I felt as though they wanted me to succeed before I was even their student. My time at the university has only confirmed this belief. All of the professors are incredibly nice, professional, and highly experienced in their fields of interest. I have made a personal connection which each of my professors and know that I can go to them anytime with any academic or personal issues.

What is your favorite class at the University of New Haven?

My favorite class that I have taken at the University of New Haven is Honors Art Design for Gaming. Although I am a Criminal Justice Major, I love everything about the arts and got to use this class as a chance for artistic expression. The class not only was incredibly fun but developed my critical thinking skills and cultural awareness as well.

What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is the Recreation Center. The Rec Center gives me a place to get rid of my extra energy through enjoyable exercise and group classes. The welcoming, safe environment has always been a great place for my friends and me to spend time together while taking a break from work.
