The University of New Haven has given me a chance to not only broaden my horizons within the Criminal Justice field, but they're allowing me to reach my full potential here. The professors and advisors come straight out of the fields we're interested in. They help build our foundations to start in a place where we want to go. Furthermore, it's close to home so it's easier for me to travel back and forth.
My favorite class is my Professional Practices course with Bobby McDonald. it's a pre-internship course that helps me understand more about what is expected in the potential internship choice. Also, a lot of current issues are brought into the lessons along with ethics and other important issues and factors that all Criminal Justice Majors should know prior to diving into their field.
My favorite spot on campus would have to be the Bergami Center for Science Technology and Innovation. I can meet a few of my friends there, get some homework done and pick up a cup of coffee (Starbucks is located inside).
